What to Expect During Your First Rehabilitation Therapy Appointment

Dress comfortably in exercise clothing. Your visit will include an evaluation and a discussion with your therapist. Using your goals, your therapist will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan.

Typically, you can expect a series of visits, two to three a week. Your therapist and referring physician will determine how often and how long your treatment should be.

You will need to bring the following items with you on your first visit:

· Insurance information

· Photo of identification

· A list of current medications you're taking

· Your therapy prescription, often already sent by your physician

We're Putting Your Safety First

Rehab is an important part of recovery and continued heath, so we’re doing all we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at our outpatient therapy location. We are:

· Using hospital grade personal protective equipment (PPE).

· Providing masks for all patients and visitors.

· Promoting social distancing with the use of floor decals and signage.

· Cleaning and disinfecting all equipment and surfaces between patients.

· Restricting visitors, unless patients need assistance.
