RAD Staff Technologist Assistant (3-4 Students)

The Radiology Technologist’s assistant transports patients to and from the Radiology Department. Other duties include but are not limited to: stocking rooms, dressing patients, and other duties as assigned.

A Rad Tech Assistant may not make an xray exposure since only technologists licensed by the Ohio Department of Health are allowed to do so. 

Speech Language Pathologist - PRN

Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) both identify and treat communication problems related to language and speech. Working with patients of all ages, Speech Language Pathologists seek to improve communication skills through vocal exercises and cognitive therapies.

RNFA-Surgical First Assistant (Part Time)

The Surgical First Assistant to the surgeon during a surgical procedure carries out functions that will assist the surgeon in performing a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. This position practices peri-operative care and has acquired the knowledge, skills, and judgment necessary to assist the surgeon through organized instruction and supervised practice. The Chart Assembler/Analyzer is responsible for securing and maintaining the patient’s health record upon discharge from the hospital.  This position verifies and ensures receipt of all patient records and assembles the documentation into the legal medical record.  The Chart Assembler/Analyzer analyzes the record for chart completion deficiencies in accordance with regulatory requirements and Medical Staff Rules and Regulations.  All loose reports the Health Information Management department receives are patient identified, sorted and filed into the legal medical record, as appropriate.  Customer Service is integral to the position as the Chart Assembler/Analyzer is also responsible for answering telephone calls and assisting visitors (including but not limited to physicians, patients and their family members), while maintaining confidentiality.  The Chart Assembler/Analyzer will further support the department needs through assistance in any of the Chart Coordinator, Release of Information, or other duties as assigned.

Respiratory Care Practitioner-Night Shift

A licensed Respiratory Therapist who is responsible for providing respiratory care services to in and out patients of all ages and performing accurate 12 Lead EKG’s according to policies and procedures of EORH. Promotes healing of acutely ill patients whose cardiac or pulmonary systems have been compromised through illness or injury through the provision of respiratory care, diagnostic testing, providing for the psycho-social needs of the patient, and patient education. Encourages and enhances the progression and efficient operation of the Respiratory department. Treats patients from adolescents to the elderly patients. When requested, assists day to day operations of the Respiratory department, referring any problems to the manager, as appropriate. Provides diagnostic testing and pulmonary rehab to the patient to help optimize the total care given. Performs arterial punctures for blood gas analysis, knowledge in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and quality control of ABG analyzers. Ability to use mechanical ventilators, bi-level ventilation equipment, peak flow meters, spontaneous aerosol administration, ability to perform respiratory assessment, and perform CPT.

Sleep Lab Technologist- PRN

The polysomnographic technician is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care and education. A polysomnographic technician can perform the duties as defines for polysomnographic technicians/technologists as defined by the American Association of Sleep Medicine.

Directs and controls daily operations of assigned Laboratory section(s). Also performs the duties of an MT/MLT. Special projects or other assignments may be given with expectations to be completed in a specified time frame. Cath Lab/ Interventional Radiologic Technologist

Under physician supervision, operates fluoroscopic imaging equipment during cardiac and/or peripheral vascular procedures. Also provides scrub assistance to Cardiologist throughout diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures; provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures.

Biller/Collector

Prepare bills and invoices for medical services and treatments received. Establish payment arrangements on current and delinquent patient accounts. Follow up with individuals and insurance companies to reconcile accounts. Regularly update Medicare and Medicaid cost and bad-debt reports, billing, collection and other related information. Collect payments on outstanding accounts. Collect financial, demographic and insurance information from patients to insure timely payments. Charge entry for incorrect information keyed into patient chart. Protect and keep all patient and hospital information confidential. Follow all HIPAA, JCAHO, state and federal laws and standards. Provide professional and courteous service to patients, customers, medical staff and fellow workers. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
